My name is Alex Draeger, and I am the Founder and Owner of Therma Shield Solar Control. I started tinting windows in Spokane in 1989 for Tintsulation, Inc. When the Owner retired in early 1994, I struck out on my own--founding Therma Shield in April of that year. It has been a long and rewarding journey, and I am proud to say that I have more flat glass window film installation experience than any other window tinter in the area currently installing film.
My lovely bride, Laura, started working for me in 2009 as a window prepper--working ahead of me getting windows sterile and ready for installation of the film. Apparently, she liked the business enough to marry me in 2011, thereby becoming Co-Owner. Although I sometimes question her taste in men (just kidding honey), I have no doubt about her determination to provide you the best film installation possible.

WHY WE SPECIALIZE IN FLAT GLASS
We specialize in flat-glass filming because automotive window tinting is very different from residential and commercial window tinting. Many of our competitors deal primarily in auto tinting and offer residential filming "on the side".
